That we love it here — we already knew from our first walk in the area years ago. So why not return to discover the other side of the hills? Heavy rain was forecast during our hike, so we set off early to try and stay ahead of the first showers — which we just managed to do. A fun and varied walk through forest, meadows, and village. Make sure to wear good shoes, as after rain some sections can get muddy and slippery. You’ll find charming sunken lanes, alternating with lovely forest trails and beautiful views from the hilltops. Highly recommended!
