A varied walk around Maredret, alternating between meadows and forest paths, with the occasional steep climb to keep things interesting. Although the route doesn’t pass directly by the abbey — the female counterpart to Maredsous and arguably more beautiful and authentic — it’s well worth a short detour for a peaceful visit.
